GREAT NEWS! I received the grant I applied for from The University of Texas at Dallas! They have given me $800 to put towards my weather balloon research project! Information on this can be viewed here. I was one of 69 students chosen! The launch will take place sometime in early 2012. In the words of Albert Einstein, "Imagination is more important than knowledge".

Ardent Dawn was a success this morning. Media page has pictures and video footage from the launch. Air-Avant ran into trouble due to high winds and low rate of climb, running into electrical lines, ending its journey short.
